About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs radiographic procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- ARRT and New Mexico State licenses
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through American Heart Association, or must obtain within two weeks from date of hire or transfer
- Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills
- Minimum one year experience which can be substituted with clinical education experience
