About The Position

CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Non-Registered Radiological Technician (NCT) to join our team as an X-Ray Tech PRN. This role involves performing timely and quality radiology procedures, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to patient care and will work closely with other staff to provide high-quality service. The position may require alternate shifts and floating to other clinic locations as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.
• NCT - A Non-Certified Technician license in Texas.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
• NCT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests, including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Perform routine office functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, sorting, and filing of patient and clinic materials.
• Be cross-trained for Front Desk duties including greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, and performing End of Day close out procedures.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
