About The Position

The X-Ray Radiology Service Technician II position at Texas Health Fort Worth is a full-time role that involves working on diagnostic imaging equipment. The technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and services on Hologic products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing customer relationships. The role requires local travel between Texas Health Resources hospital facilities and clinics, and offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required.
  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Information Technology Management, or related field Required.
  • Successful completion of military BMET training Required.
  • 5 Years of experience servicing diagnostic imaging systems, preferably in a hospital setting Required.
  • Experience with Hologic equipment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of MQSA and ACR requirements preferred.
  • Networking experience preferred.
  • Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record Required.
  • Completion of Networking + Foundation Course 2 Years Required.
  • IT Infrastructure Library Certification 2 Years Preferred.
  • Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES), or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) Upon Hire Preferred.
  • Specialized formal training certification Upon Hire Preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Hologic equipment.
  • Basic understanding of MQSA and ACR requirements.
  • Networking experience.
  • IT Infrastructure Library Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and services of Hologic products including electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database including inventory, performance assurance schedules, nomenclature, and service history.
  • Ensure compliance with MQSA, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and discuss equipment status with clinicians.
  • Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status and verify completion of security analysis for new customer equipment.
  • Conduct incoming inspections to maintain an accurate inventory of medical devices.
