We are looking for an X-Ray Field Service Engineer in the Idaho Falls area! This critical role is key in driving high-quality growth, delivery, and world-class customer experiences as part of the Field Service Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced field service engineer specializing in x-ray and ultrasound equipment, or one of the two. This position requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and excellent customer etiquette. Comfort with technology is essential for success in this role. The X-Ray Field Service Engineer will perform various duties related to the installation, calibration, corrective repair, preventive maintenance, and decommissioning of digital radiography equipment and systems to ensure safe and appropriate operations. The role may also involve supporting other modalities such as Ultrasound when required. The engineer will execute scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain documentation of all service events, tests, and corrective maintenance performed on Samsung digital radiography imaging technologies. Additionally, the engineer will consult and collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare for the installation and deployment of Samsung digital radiography imaging technologies. This includes working with electrical, mechanical, gas, pneumatics, software, networking, and integration to data/information retention systems. The role also involves performing or coordinating assembly and installation tasks, ensuring that all systems are integrated effectively and function as intended.
