About The Position
We are seeking a self-starter to work in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment alongside motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists. The primary focus of this role is to create custom digital signal processing solutions and communications systems that support national security and defense initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with a small, dispersed team to develop software frameworks that underpin advanced hardware- and software-based SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) systems. In this position, the individual will be responsible for the design and implementation of reusable frameworks, library, or software toolkit development. A strong emphasis will be placed on multi-threading and performance optimization, which are critical for the efficient operation of the systems being developed. The candidate will also support core signal and image processing algorithms, hardware control, GUI design, and database development, ensuring that all products are well-structured, documented, and thoroughly tested. Direct interaction with end users and customers is a key aspect of this role, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate disciplined work habits and a commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet the stringent requirements of the defense sector.
