About The Position

Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Recreation is seeking an X-Cel Gymnastics Team Head Coach to take on all duties associated with a head coach role. The position is based at the Berkeley 2000 Recreation Center, Gymnastics Wing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Competitive Artistic or Women's Gymnastics.
• 2 to 5 years of coaching experience.
• Must be in good standing with USA Gymnastics.
• Ability to make lesson plans, teach, and spot all skill levels from X-Cel Bronze to Level 9.
• Must be 21 years of age, have reliable transportation and child care.
• Holds a current driver’s license and can successfully complete a background check.

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an intermediary facilitating communication among parents, the coordinator, and peers.
• Organize athletes levels and manage all registration for meets through USAG.
• Communicate with other gym managers for meet registration process.
• Maintain practice and meet schedule.
