About The Position

The WY Sagebrush Ecologist at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) plays a crucial role in conserving the sagebrush ecosystem in Wyoming. This position involves collecting, managing, and analyzing data to prioritize conservation actions, conducting scientific surveys, and coordinating conservation programs. The ecologist will work in challenging environments and collaborate with various partners to implement research and outreach initiatives aimed at managing invasive species and protecting the sagebrush biome.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a science-related field and 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience collecting, manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting scientific data
• Experience preparing reports of findings
