About The Position
A Motor Pool Supervisor oversees the daily operation of a departmental motor pool. Work of this class involves supervising motor pool service and lead work personnel. Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek which includes 24-hour on-call duty. Work is performed primarily in an office where uncomfortable working conditions are rarely encountered. Work requires minimal physical exertion.
