WURP physicians practice independently in a community setting while staying connected to WashU Medicine Neurology giving you access to all its subspecialties, educational conferences and professional development opportunities; a voluntary faculty appointment is available if desired. As a member of the WashU Medicine team, you will enjoy ready access to WashU physicians in all medical and surgical specialties. The practices, located in multiple St. Louis area locations, provide the opportunity to provide EEG, EMG and Sleep Medicine services. No stroke call required. Community hospitals affiliated with the practices have earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Standard of Approval for certification as Primary Stroke Centers and serve a catchment area of more than one million people. The hospitals are members of BJC HealthCare - the market leader in the St. Louis region.
