About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and/or PhD in social science, public administration, or public policy preferred.
• 5+ years of experience conducting primary and secondary research utilizing qualitative and quantitative data.
• Deep knowledge of state or local government IT and government policy development.
• Strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity to process and understand information quickly.
• Experience converting qualitative and quantitative information into clear frameworks and visually compelling presentations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience publishing business-related deliverables such as white papers and articles.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute Gartner's proven methodology for conducting world-class research.
• Manage key research deliverables including large research studies, white papers, case studies, presentations, and webinars.
• Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership, shaping team strategy and driving innovations.
• Conduct research interviews with C-level executives to inform research deliverables.
• Stay abreast of key trends affecting Government functions to drive timely product plans.
