Position Summary: The Writer in Residence at Interlochen will foster a dynamic and inspiring literary environment within our renowned Arts Academy. The Writer in Residence will collaborate with faculty and students across various disciplines. The Writer in Residence will teach two courses per semester and offer individual mentoring sessions aimed at cultivating the creative writing talents of our diverse student body. The Writer in Residence will engage with the broader Interlochen community through public readings, literary events, and collaborations with visiting writers. This position includes campus housing and a complete benefits package. This In Residence position is for the Fall 2025 Academic Year starting on 8/25/25 through 5/30/26. Possibility of renewal if mutually agreeable.
