About The Position

RISING GIANT IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY SEEKS A WRENCH (MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC) / INSTALLER We’re a successful fast-growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky. We’re growing rapidly, undergoing a national expansion. In the past five years, we’ve grown from 60 employees to over 400. We’ve averaged 50% revenue growth each year over the past 8 years. Please note: This is a hybrid role. You will work approximately 20 hours as a Motorcycle Mechanic and 20 hours as a General Maintenance Technician. Job Overview: The Private Motorcycle Mechanic is responsible for the care, maintenance, and restoration of a personal motorcycle collection. This position involves working independently to ensure each motorcycle is in excellent mechanical condition, ready for display or riding, with a focus on high standards of workmanship, discretion, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
• Proven experience as a motorcycle mechanic or technician
• Strong understanding of motorcycle systems and components
• Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Motorcycle license AND endorsement preferred
• Experience using power tools
• Basic Electrical
• Basic Plumbing
• Drywall
• Flooring
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, stay on feet for long periods of time, climb ladders etc.

Nice To Haves

• Hvac is a plus
• Painting
• Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in motorcycles
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake inspections, and tune-ups
• Inspect motorcycles for wear and damage and advise customers on necessary repairs
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment to test performance and safety
• Proficient computer skills
• Conduct basic research and purchasing of items on the web
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and services
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations
• Stay updated on the latest motorcycle technologies and repair techniques
