About The Position

The Wrapper Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of packaging machinery to wrap, seal, and label finished products in accordance with company standards and quality requirements. This role ensures the continuous flow of production by maintaining machine performance, monitoring output, and conducting basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Previous experience operating wrapping or packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and safety instructions.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wrapping/packaging machines to ensure efficient production runs.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Ensure correct product labeling, coding, and packaging per specifications.
• Inspect packaging materials and finished goods for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area following safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
• Record production data such as quantities, machine downtime, and material usage.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Report mechanical issues or deviations from standard procedures to maintenance or supervision.
• Follow all company safety procedures and actively participate in safety programs.
