The Wraparound Therapist coordinates services and planning for children referred through social service, probation, or mental health departments, assisting them in transitioning from institutional to family or family-like settings. Services are primarily provided in community settings such as families’ homes, group homes, foster homes, and schools. The core responsibility is to ensure all parties collaborate effectively to achieve stability for the child and family. Wraparound Therapists build meaningful relationships with clients, fostering a safe, predictable, and positive environment that respects clients’ values and cultures. Seneca's "Wraparound" services are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, aiming to help families develop skills and supports to prevent or reduce out-of-home placement. A family-based team, including family members, Seneca's Therapists, Youth Counselors, Parent Partners, Facilitators, and other community members, addresses the needs of the entire family. Seneca Family of Agencies is dedicated to providing outstanding mental health, community-based, and educational services to traditionally marginalized communities, with a commitment to building a diverse staff and engaging in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
