The WPHPA Billing Associate is responsible to receive and register patients for all procedures in assigned practice/specialty. To provide all required insurance information to all patients. To be familiar with all components of the different insurance carriers. Be able to enter and confirm accuracy of charges. This position is in a busy medical oncology practice in our WPH Center for Cancer Care. Team member will work closely with clinical, pharmacy and revenue teams, and will be primarily responsible for chemotherapy and non chemotherapy infusion authorizations.
