About The Position

Wound Ostomy RN at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Part-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts. The Wound Care Therapy Nurse provides specialized care to individuals in the hospital setting with complex draining wounds, fistulae or skin breakdown secondary to circulatory compromise. In planning nursing interventions, the Wound Care Therapy Nurse must consider related physiological, social and behavioral components that may result from or affect the individual's response and/or adjustment to altered body function and image. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • CWON Certification Upon hire
  • California Registered Nurse License Upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire
  • Wound Care Certification CWON
  • 5 years of Direct patient care experience, including direct patient wound care experience.
