Wound Care/ Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN)
About The Position
We are looking for a skilled Wound Care/ Treatment Nurse to become part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to come join our team and be a vital link between our patients, nurses and other facility staff! Wound Nurse - Treatment Nurse LVN or RN Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm & Weekend On-Call Rotation The Job The purpose of this position is to supervise, provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with Community policies and procedures and to assess residents' care needs and take appropriate action
Requirements
- Must have a current and valid LVN or RN nursing license or a current and valid LVN or RN license from a Compact Party State.
- Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing a must
- 1 plus year of wound care or treatment nursing experience is a must
Nice To Haves
- Certified Wound Care/ Treatment Nurse A PLUS
Responsibilities
- Take appropriate action to assure adequate staffing to provide resident care.
- Participate in coaching/discipline, hiring and termination decisions of direct care staff.
- Supervise and assess resident care and take appropriate action.
- Implement Community procedures to provide resident care.
