Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum education, certification, licensure or degree in a medical field (preference given to Patient Care Tech, Athletic Training, Certified Nursing Assistant, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician, or Medical Assistant areas)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of patient care experience
- 2 years direct care with patients including wound dressing and assisting with minor surgical procedures
- Ability to perform diagnostic testing and checklist completion
- Experience with Doppler use
- Experience in billing and use of databases
Responsibilities
- Provide and document direct patient care for patients, including adults, geriatrics, and occasionally infants through pediatric patients, under the direct supervision of a wound care clinician or provider.
- Ensure the care environment is safe, comfortable, and confidential.
