Wound Care Nurse - NHC Lewisburg
About The Position
NHC Lewisburg, a 100 bed post-acute skilled nursing facility is in need of a wound care nurse with an expertise in caring for chronic and acute wounds in the geriatric population. The preferred candidate for this position is an RN, but an LPN with experience is encouraged to apply. The qualified nurse for this position will assess and evaluate patients with wounds and injuries, and ensure optimum patient care delivery in wound care nursing procedures. The wound care nurse will provide preventative care to ensure infection does not set in and that other complications do not arise. Education and coordinating care with other health professionals is another important aspect of this position
