About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to perform a 12-week wound care contract in the home care setting. Providing wound care to (2) Patients in the Conyers, GA/Decatur, GA area every M W F with 1 PRN visit weekly.
Requirements
- Currently licensed nurse in the state of employment
- Previous experience in wound care is required
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid/CPR certification required
- TB test within last 1 year or chest X ray within last 5 years
- Wound Vac experience required
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Wound Care to stage 4 and 3 wounds
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
- Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor
