Ascend Medical is seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner with expertise in wound management and infusion therapies. This is a 1099 contract position with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment. Requirements

• Proven experience in wound care management
• Active Georgia NP license
• IV Therapy certification
• Infusion Therapy certification
• Wound Care certification
• Bereavement certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ALS (Advanced Life Support)
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic wounds.
• Develop individualized wound care treatment plans.
• Administer and oversee IV and infusion therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
• Provide patient education on wound care and infusion therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
• Travel to patient homes or clinics across the East Atlanta area as needed.
