About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized wound care services to patients in long-term care facilities and a clinic. Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in specified location.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care.
• Strong clinical skills in wound assessment and treatment, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOCN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough wound assessments and develop personalized care plans for each patient.
• Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care procedures.
• Continuously monitor and assess patients’ progress in wound healing.
• Educate both patients and facility staff on effective wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Manage pain related to wounds to ensure patient comfort.
