Requirements

Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in the state of California.
Prior experience in wound care or related clinical setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of wound care techniques, infection control, and patient safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement wound care treatment plans under the supervision of medical staff.
Perform wound cleansing, dressing changes, and application of topical medications following established protocols.
Monitor patient progress, document wound status, and report any changes or concerns promptly.
Educate patients and their families on wound care management and preventive measures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for wound care procedures.
