About The Position

Requirements

current and valid Missouri state LPN license
current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

Nice To Haves

one year experience in an Acute Care hospital or clinic setting
previous wound care experience

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Monitor wound progression, document changes, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
Collaborate with wound care specialists and physicians to optimize treatment strategies.
Administer appropriate treatments, dressings, and therapeutic interventions for various wound types.
Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective wound management.
Provide clear instructions and support to ensure adherence to wound care protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound assessments, treatment plans, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Stay current with the latest wound care techniques and treatments by participating in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities.
