About The Position
We are seeking a Wound Care LPN/LVN, internally referred to as our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), to join our Wound Care team. As an LPN/LVN in wound care, you should be empathetic and have good communication skills. Requirements
- current and valid Missouri state LPN license
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Nice To Haves
- one year experience in an Acute Care hospital or clinic setting
- previous wound care experience
Responsibilities
- technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
- meet the communication needs of the patient and family
- performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
- this is a clinic environment with a need of one to three shifts/week
- supports both inpatient and outpatient care
- wound vacs
- negative pressure wound therapy
