About The Position

WOUND CARE COORDINATOR Vista Specialty Hospital Wound Care Coordinator Job Summary: Here at Vista Specialty Hospital the Wound Care Coordinator collaborates with the CCO in developing evidence-based standards of practice. Supports employee and patient education to enhance knowledge and skills. Implements policies and procedures, along with evidence-based standards of care and practice. Provides consultative service to clinical team, patients and their families.

Requirements

• BSN required.
• Current State Licensed as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification.
• Wound and ostomy care certification required from ANCC accredited program (Vista Specialty Hospital will cover the WOC certification with the expectation that they will obtain it within one year of hire.)
• Five (5) years nursing experience in an acute care setting with at least two (2) years in a leadership role.
• Safety Sensitive-Designated Position
