About The Position

The Worship Pastor at Williams Lake Church is responsible for leading and enhancing the Sunday morning worship experience, overseeing production and tech elements, and fostering a vibrant worship community. This role involves collaboration with the Lead Pastor to create engaging worship services, managing volunteer teams, and ensuring the effective use of production tools to facilitate worship and outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sunday Morning Worship Experience by collaborating with the Lead Pastor.
• Oversee the preparation and execution of all production and tech for the main stage.
• Lead the Volunteer Huddle with the worship/tech team.
• Conduct rehearsals and run-throughs in preparation for Sunday services.
• Schedule volunteers for the band to ensure adequate coverage on stage.
• Work in advance with the team to schedule services at least 3-4 weeks ahead.
• Recruit new volunteers for the worship/production team.
• Train volunteers to enhance their skills and passion for the mission.
• Raise up leaders who will take ownership of the church's mission.
• Equip volunteers with necessary resources and place them in positions to succeed.
• Create a community that is excited and engaged among team members.
• Lead the team spiritually and provide guidance.
• Organize all sound, lights, and media equipment in the Sanctuary.
• Upgrade production systems to improve worship experiences.
• Create sustainable and transferable training and operation systems.
• Improve the quality of the Live Stream as a means of outreach.
• Dream big and lead potential future outreach opportunities with the Lead Pastor.
• Provide pastoral care and pray for the needs of the congregation.
• Encourage and raise up new leaders within the church.
• Meet regularly with the Lead Pastor for open and honest dialogue.
• Participate in all staff gatherings.
