About The Position
The Worship Leader will be responsible for leading the worship during our 11:00 am Sunday service at our church. This role is part-time and offers a unique opportunity to engage with a vibrant community of over 300 members, with an average attendance in the 200s. The worship style is blended, incorporating both contemporary and traditional elements to create a meaningful worship experience for our congregation. The Worship Leader will work closely with the pastor and church leadership to plan and execute worship services that are Christ-centered and spiritually enriching. In this position, the Worship Leader will be expected to demonstrate strong vocal abilities and a passion for worship. They will lead the praise team, which consists of volunteer members, and will be responsible for integrating these volunteers into the worship experience. This includes selecting appropriate songs, rehearsing with the team, and ensuring that all aspects of the worship service flow smoothly. The Worship Leader will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other church ministries and participate in special events throughout the year. The hours and specific responsibilities of the Worship Leader are negotiable, allowing for flexibility to accommodate the needs of both the church and the individual in this role.
