About The Position

Calvary Chapel New Harvest is seeking a passionate and experienced Worship Leader to oversee and enhance the worship ministry. This role is vital for leading the congregation in worship through music, fostering a vibrant spiritual atmosphere, and coordinating various worship-related activities and events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience as a Worship Leader in a congregation.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Musical talent with the ability to play, sing, read, and write music at a high skill level.
• Proficiency in using Ableton Live or Prime for multitracks.

• Experience leading contemporary 21st Century-style worship.
• A growing theology and practice of Christ-centered worship.
• Ability to interface and lead musicians of varying abilities.
• Administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, rehearsing, and executing music and worship for weekend and special services.
• Lead worship for special events such as conferences, funerals, and baptisms.
• Coordinate church resources including scheduling volunteers and collaborating with staff.
• Check and update Planning Center weekly.
• Assist in developing and implementing plans for introducing new music into the worship repertoire.
• Support the development and discipleship of musicians within the congregation.
• Conduct auditions and orientation for new worship ministry members.
• Plan regular meetings with the senior worship leader for training and discipleship.
• Oversee the use and training of multitracks for services and events.
• Organize and train for Planning Center Online.
