About The Position
The Worship Director at The Foundry Church is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in coordinating and leading worship services across various venues and campuses. This position requires a strong musical proficiency, particularly in vocal abilities and instrumental skills, as the director will lead worship approximately 32 times a year at the LIVE campus. The Worship Director will also be responsible for raising up worship leaders, developing an internship track to ensure a larger rotation of leaders, and providing music and worship for special events beyond regular services, such as holidays and funerals. In addition to leading worship, the Worship Director will engage with volunteers and interns, ensuring they have all necessary elements for rehearsals and services, and that all instruments are in proper working order. The role requires alignment with the church's vision, mission, values, and brand standards, and participation in the Weekly Rhythm of the Foundry Church, which includes worship, groups, and serving. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships with volunteers and staff, fostering spiritual growth, and creating a supportive team atmosphere. The Foundry Church emphasizes a culture centered around the Word of God, where hard work, creativity, and a willingness to learn from mistakes are valued.
