About The Position

The Supply Demand Planner at Apple is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of a product, from acquisition to final disposal. This role involves developing and executing product demand and supply plans across various distribution channels globally. The planner will forecast demand, analyze product sales, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure that supply plans align with sales requirements and financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Analytics, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in managing Supply Chain operations, including stakeholder collaborations.
  • 2 years of experience in forecasting to support supply demand operations at regional, channel, and SKU levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel for analyzing product demand and determining supply allocation.
  • Experience in quantifying financial implications for revenue forecasting and cost of components/tooling.
  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate supply chain-related risks.
  • Experience in modeling supply chain risk scenarios.
  • Experience in presenting supply chain status, risks, and solutions.
  • Experience in managing projects to improve supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and coordinate ongoing logistical functions of the organization.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries.
  • Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell-through.
  • Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple's financial objectives.
  • Evaluate risks and plan contingency measures to mitigate them.
  • Analyze product sales on a daily basis and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements.
  • Work with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities for new product introductions.
  • Partner with global procurement teams to allocate constrained components and meet raw material inventory targets.
  • Present product updates and recommend actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process and drive projects to completion.
