About The Position

AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with expert level domain-specific knowledge. They can solve our customer’s most complex problems and scale their knowledge throughout our global sales organization. Most importantly, they form the bridge between our customers and product teams, bringing first hand customer experience into our product roadmaps and feature development plans. We are looking for a strong Solutions Architect with deep expertise in agentic AI systems to enable new capabilities for our customers deploying Agentic AI workloads on AWS. This is not a traditional GenAI role—you will own the GTM strategy for the next wave of agent capabilities where AI moves from answering questions to taking action: persistent memory, dynamic user profiles and personalization, research agents, agentic AI evaluation, and responsible AI guardrails—capabilities that move agents from demos to enterprise-grade production systems. We are looking for someone who has built and shipped production-ready agentic AI systems, not just prototypes, and understands the hard architectural choices required to close the gap between demo and deployment at scale. You will interact with customers directly to understand their hardest business problems, help them architect and implement scalable agentic solutions (often via proof-of-concepts), and feed those field insights back to shape the product features that developers will build on. Working with account teams, research scientists, and product teams, you'll drive agent implementations, define new solution patterns, and create new solutions. We are part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization at AWS, a team of customer-obsessed architects and technical business leaders. We work backwards from our customer's most business-critical problems to build global go-to-market plans and scale innovations across industries and domains.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. AI/ML, software development, cloud computing, data & analytics, systems engineering) experience
  • 1+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in agentic AI, multi-agent systems, or LLM-based application architectures experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building, deploying or supporting production-ready AI systems with persistent memory, user personalization, or agent orchestration at enterprise scale
  • Experience with responsible AI frameworks, guardrail architectures, and safety patterns for agent systems operating in regulated industries (e.g. financial services, healthcare, energy, public sector)
  • Experience designing and operationalizing evaluation frameworks for AI systems—including benchmark design, human-in-the-loop assessment, and production monitoring
  • Experience building and deploying production-ready AI systems with persistent memory, user personalization, or agent orchestration at enterprise scale
  • Hands-on experience with foundation models, agent frameworks, tool-use patterns, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation methodologies for agentic AI systems
