The Google Cloud Small/Medium Businesses (SMB) team focuses on working with small and medium-sized businesses, startups, and digital native customers. As a Territory Manager, you will help grow Google Cloud business directly and via partners. By showcasing the ability of our products, you will bring opportunities through the full business process, while delivering the highest quality customer experience. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $78,500-$112,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in one or more of the following: business, client relationship, or account management.
  • Experience in technology business focused on new customer acquisition.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines.
  • Experience with cloud computing.
  • Experience in building book of business, ensuring management and fulfillment against strategic goals in highly engaged market.
  • Experience with using CRM, e.g., Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Work with technical promoters and Google Cloud partners as a key member of the business team to optimize business results and growth opportunities with SMB in the digital native or startups space.
  • Lead assigned territory, work with cross-functional teams in achieving business goals, guide the entire business process, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and ensure customer success within territory.
  • Provide input to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage business development and forecast accurately.
  • Play a key role in advancing processes and driving impact and meeting and exceeding business goals.
