The Ability One Worksite Manager II plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives for projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This role provides overall supervision and management at worksites and performs supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

  • Manages Hanscom Air Force Base contract as set forth by the federal government, NISH and Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries, Inc.
  • Ensures compliance with federal government contract requirements, specifically the Statement of Work.
  • Prepares and submits task and frequency schedules to contracting officials for approval.
  • Develops and directs quality control programs to ensure the quality of work meets specified contract standards.
  • Supervises and trains site supervisors working at Hanscom Air Force Base.
  • Oversees and coordinates daily tasks and activities of a team within established budgets and goals.
  • Maintains positive working relationships with federal government contracting officials.
  • Develops and implements performance standards and training programs to improve production and increase quality of work.
  • Provides regular feedback to Case Managers on overall participant performance.
  • Monitors and implements environmental rules and regulations related to cleaning chemicals.
  • Performs monthly time studies for participant evaluations.
  • Oversees the operation of a fleet of three vans.
  • Purchases and distributes supplies for Hanscom Air Force Base.
  • Prepares and submits proposals, weekly payroll, and monthly billing/invoice statements.
  • Assists the Director of Federal and Commercial Contracts with budget preparation.
  • Ensures a safe working environment for employees, participants, and customers.
  • Manages staff in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
  • Works with Hanscom Air Force Base facility management company to ensure service standards.
  • Provides 24 hours coverage as Hanscom has afternoon, evening and weekend hours.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services/Business Management or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to identify and compile required data and financial information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to solve difficult problems and work under pressure.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • First-aid/CPR certification and valid MA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Requires acceptable results of all required background checks.
  • Experience working with a diverse population and individuals with disabilities.
  • Must be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
  • Contract/Project management experience in custodial, environmental, facility or construction.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and forecast expenses and revenue.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
