Essential Job Functions (Including but not limited to): Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing, completing preventive maintenance such as, disassembly, inspection, reassembly, function test, final inspection, and proper packaging. Maintains equipment’s functional condition by listening to operator/customer complaints; conducting inspections; repairing equipment failures; repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing cosmetic damage. Verifies equipment serviceability by conducting a second party inspection and/or test operating. Complies with service requirements by testing operations, safety, and Quality control standards. Maintains equipment and its packaging appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. Maintains equipment records by recording service and repairs. Keeps shop tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Assists in assembly of new products and prototype equipment. Provide support in the areas of: 1. Inventory Control. 2. Logistics in the Shipping & Receiving area. 3. Warehouse organization and cleanliness.
