About The Position
The Workshop Director at the Yale Center for Ecosystems in Architecture (Yale CEA) will report to Core Faculty and provide high-level management and fabrication expertise related to research and other projects at Yale CEA. This role involves overseeing the sourcing of lab equipment, managing access and scheduling of lab facilities, and ensuring compliance with university policies and safety guidelines. The Workshop Director will work closely with CEA leadership, faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students, and external colleagues to develop and supervise prototyping, fabrication, and experimental setups required for research and exhibition projects. Additionally, the position includes managing daily lab operations, ongoing equipment maintenance, and training activities to meet CEA research objectives.
