About The Position

The Workplace Technology Engineer's mission is to enable and empower Intuitive's Real Estate and Workplace teams to effectively and efficiently get their job done with confidence- using streamlined technology and data. This role is part of the mission to provide the following support: PROACTIVELY Partner with RE & Workplace teams to evaluate, build and support workplace technology strategy and standards. Oversee implementation of workplace technologies that support growth, flexibility and Intuitive's unique business needs. Make or save Intuitive money. Bring longevity to workplace technologies and processes.

Requirements

  • Several years of progressive experience in management and leadership roles, within the Workplace or Information Technology Industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, set strategic direction, and drive organizational change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies and applications.
  • Sense of urgency and task ownership.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Great communication skills with customer service orientation.
  • Has the ability to work independently, manage time and tasks, and respond promptly when needed.
  • In-depth understanding of the industry, market trends, and requirements relevant to Workplace Technology.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exemplary time management skills.
  • Has strong follow through and a sense of urgency and task ownership.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and the ability to lead through ambiguity and change.

Responsibilities

  • Support the effort to compile data from different sources to assist Workplace stakeholders in telling data driven stories.
  • Consult and document process workflows required for data and technology scalability.
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to answer technical, software, or CRE strategy questions.
  • Perform workplace technology needs analysis evaluations.
  • Consult on workplace technology data ecosystems and process flows as it related to workplace technology and global workplace programs.
  • Educate stakeholders on process, data management, and workplace strategy as it relates to technology.
  • Have knowledge around IWMS and workplace technology products and databases.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement workplace technology solutions.
  • Manage and maintain all workplace infrastructure and systems in the toolkit.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions.
  • Develop and implement workplace technology policies and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend new workplace technology solutions.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure effective delivery of IT solutions and services.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new workplace technology solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
