About The Position

The Workplace Receptionist role at REA Group is a 12-month fixed term position based on-site in the Melbourne office, working Monday to Friday. This position is integral to the Finance and Business Services team, known as FaBS, which encompasses various functions including Finance, Risk & Assurance, Workplace Experience & Procurement, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, and Corporate Communications. The Workplace Receptionist serves as the main point of contact for all visitors and guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience. The role goes beyond traditional reception duties, focusing on improving the office environment and supporting the staff to create a pleasant and safe working atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact and front-of-house for all visitors and guests to REA
  • Manage incoming/outgoing calls, emails, Slacks, and in-person enquiries
  • Communicate facility and office updates to staff via appropriate channels
  • Be responsible for the visitor management system, ensuring guests are signed in and out appropriately
  • Maintain security and access register for guests
  • Ensure common and amenity areas are well maintained
  • Monitor and action PWE tickets related to reception duties
  • Coordinate reception duties for states outside of Melbourne and Sydney, as well as remote workers
  • Coordinate REA internal social events across all states
  • Assist the WHS Committee to implement workplace safety programs
  • Assist the Sustainability team to implement sustainable measures
  • Assist the People Services team with parking, benefits, and policies
  • Maintain team internal intranet pages with relevant information and updates
  • Act as an REA First Aider or Warden (training provided)
