About The Position

As a Workplace Manager, you will be a key person in creating a smooth and engaging workplace at our first-ever private office at The Hub on Causeway by North Station/TD Garden. You will play a central role in the organization with a lot of responsibility and room for ownership given to you which enables you to have plenty of freedom to shape the role into your own. Your workday will range from practical tasks to strategic initiatives. Here, you will be part of a cross-functional People team at a global level and a well-rounded team in Boston across many departments. Together with your core team and global colleagues in similar roles, you will be responsible for planning and executing global social and culture-building events and initiatives. On the ground here in Boston, you will own the daily operations of our office to ensure our new home is welcoming, organized, and an enjoyable place to be. Requirements

  • Experience within office management, ideally in a fast growth environment where you’ve proven your ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects
  • Experience in or proven and demonstrated ability in leading event management and coordination for travel and conferences
  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Clear, proactive communicator who can keep multiple stakeholders aligned
  • The desire and excitement to put in place systems and processes to aid all areas of office organization
  • Excellent written and oral skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Own day to day operations and management of the Boston office (supplies, mail/packages, vendor management, kitchen/snacks, meeting room setup, etc.)
  • Be a driver and project manager for events, socials, team-building activities, etc. for our employees in Boston and support global events and initiatives with the Workplace Managers in Oslo and London
  • Ensure a smooth, welcoming and well-organized working environment in our Boston office by ensuring all snacks, groceries, and supplies are in stock and keeping all office space and meeting rooms tidy
  • Purchase office needs and process expenses to Finance
  • Assist the People Team with all practical elements of onboarding new employees
  • Liaise and support the Marketing team as needed with events and conference logistics taking place in the US
  • Be the go-to person for all Boston employees for their practical questions and needs and escalate issues as needed
  • Greet guests, candidates, and visitors and coordinate arrival information and meeting rooms and other administrative needs as required and requested
  • Be a positive and proactive contributor to the People team’s initiatives and assist with other responsibilities or projects as may be required
