About The Position

Examinetics is hiring a full-time Workplace Health and Safety RN to be part of our expanding team. This position involves providing telephonic triage while working from our Overland Park, KS or Griffith, IN office location. You’ll work standard Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with on-call rotations as needed. The Workplace Health and Safety RN will be responsible for triaging employee incidents and determining the appropriate treatment for injured workers by phone. You will assist with first aid management of workers' compensation cases and coordinate access to healthcare services when needed. Collaborating closely with employees, employers, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, you’ll ensure seamless access to care and optimize outcomes. Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Kansas
  • Either a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or an associate’s degree in nursing (ADN)
  • 5+ years of related nursing experience preferred, preferably in either: ER, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, Case Management, IMCU, Correctional Nursing
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with employees, employers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with OSHA reporting guidelines preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess employee needs and eligibility for services, ensuring timely and appropriate case progression.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and concerns related to care and service access.
  • Monitor employee progress, ensuring adherence to care plans and facilitating timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of employee interactions, care plans, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with employees, employers, and the healthcare team to ensure effective case management and employee compliance, optimizing outcomes.
