What you'll do at Jamf: In service of our team’s mission of “Helping Jamfs succeed in the workplace”, the Workplace Facilities Specialist I supports our office-as-a-service workplace model through our 3 pillars of service: culture, office administration, and facilities. This role is primarily responsible for maintaining the spaces in which our people work; performing janitorial, maintenance, and minor repair duties to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming work environment for employees and visitors. As a member of our on-site Workplace team, the Facilities Specialist I also provides cross-functional support to Workplace Experience Specialists in office administration and event coordination duties as needed for our Eau Claire, Wisconsin office space. Candidates must be available to work on-site five days per week at our Eau Claire location.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site and be present during office hours at Jamf's Minneapolis office, Monday through Friday (Required)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in custodial, facilities maintenance, hospitality, or similar roles (Required)
  • General knowledge/understanding of safety protocols and procedures like OSHA standards
  • Excellent work ethic and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • A proactive approach and problem-solving mindset
  • Creativity and a passion for engaging and inclusive workplace environments
  • High School Diploma / GED Equivalent (Required)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for the office, exemplifying the Jamf brand in all manner of decorum
  • Keep all office and common areas tidy, setting and improving Jamf Standards of cleanliness and ensuring they are met by outside janitorial staff
  • Ensure supplies are stocked throughout all working office spaces every day; pantry, meeting rooms, office and janitorial supplies
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day maintenance of the physical space, including light repairs and upkeep
  • Maintain and coordinate light equipment/facilities repair in cooperation with internal Facilities, building maintenance, and outside contractors
  • Coordinate with IT, and other internal operational departments to provide a seamless and enjoyable employee experience
  • Communicate internally with Jamfs about upcoming scheduled maintenance and other works happening in office
  • Administer local physical office security; monitor building/office access, physical and electronic key systems and distribution, and guest registration
  • Manage ongoing relationships with local vendors and suppliers, schedule and oversee site visits, monitor inventory, place orders, and process deliveries
  • Assist Workplace Experience Specialists with logistics and execution events to build company culture and encourage community engagement.
  • Provide feedback to Workplace leadership to improve internal programs and processes
