About The Position

As a CBRE Concierge, you will assist guests, customers, and tenants with business and personal needs. This includes, making reservations, scheduling transportation services, and providing recommendations on local attractions. This job is part of the workplace experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
  • Luxury Hospitality or Hotel Experience (4+ years)
  • Previous experience with event management software (EMS, Condeco, Resource Scheduler etc.)
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all those entering the facility. Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Provide an escort to clients and guests.
  • Record and log service requests and track the statuses. Provide administrative aid to management as needed.
  • Monitor the centralized DBC Concierge Inbox for email inquiries that require responses or action pertaining to the floor being covered.
  • Respond to all inquiries within a timely manner (< 3 hours) and inform the management team or coordinators when confronted with a scheduling or space conflict you are unable to resolve on your own accord.
  • Arrange and confirm RA services on behalf of the requestors. Respond to requests within a timely manner.
  • Deliver world-class customer service to all individuals in the facility.
  • Assist in reserving meeting space (Non MPR) or coordinating catering and visitor services for DB employees and clients.
  • Build and maintain a playbook for your specific floor. Information should include floorplans, reservation templates.
  • Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures. Notify appropriate parties to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of recreational, conference and common areas, identifying areas that require service support.
  • Acknowledge inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Provide solutions in a professional customer service-driven manner.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of conference spaces prior to scheduled meetings.
  • Ensure that requested services are provided, and rooms are reset upon conclusion of the meeting.
  • Ensure that rooms are 'client-ready', pushing in all chairs, straightening equipment, and informing facilities of any spaces that need to be cleaned or require maintenance.
  • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
  • Assist with day of event support for larger events and conferences as directed by management.
  • Cross train across all concierge floors and the lobby to be able to support daily operations as needed.
  • Be knowledgeable of all service floors (7, 9, 10, 11, Lobby & Switchboard), being able to pivot support as needed.
  • Propose new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
  • Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.

Benefits

  • Minimum salary of $26.44 per hour
  • Maximum salary of $31.25 per hour
