About The Position

We service a wide variety of aircraft and facilities both large and small! This position is based out of Lake City Gateway Airport (LCQ); our company is continually growing, and we need candidates who meet and exceed our expectations of becoming the nation’s leading aircraft detailing and facility support company! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Operations Manager to lead and manage operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency while overseeing a team of maintenance and aircraft cleaning staff. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and operational management. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, restrooms, and common areas ensuring a high level of hygiene. Empty and properly dispose of waste and recycling bins throughout the facility. Clean and disinfect common areas such as bathrooms, break rooms, kitchenettes, and meeting rooms. Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring that all necessary products are available for use. Perform interior aircraft cleaning, including vacuuming carpets, wiping tray tables, cleaning galleys and lavatories, sanitizing seating areas, and removing trash and debris to ensure aircraft are ready for passenger service. Conduct exterior aircraft washing using approved equipment, chemicals, and procedures to safely clean aircraft fuselage, wings, windows, and landing gear areas while protecting sensitive aircraft components. Inspect aircraft interiors and exteriors after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met and address any deficiencies immediately. Safety Management: Act as the primary safety ambassador on-site, promoting a safety culture and ensuring compliance with internal and external safety policies. Conduct weekly safety evaluations and disseminate findings to the team via educational HIT Forms. Maintain regular communication with the Safety Department regarding potential hazards, mitigation strategies, and incident reporting. Scheduling and Attendance: Finalize and share the weekly schedule by 8 PM every Sunday, forecasting scheduling needs and making adjustments as necessary. Maintain an acceptable attendance record and document any tardiness or absences of team members. Staffing and Development: Anticipate hiring needs and communicate with the staffing team promptly. Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members as required. Conduct quarterly performance reviews for team leads and assistant supervisors, addressing turnover and staff morale through monthly team meetings. Inventory and Equipment Management: Ensure the station is stocked with the necessary supplies, proactively submitting locker reorder forms and conducting monthly audits of equipment and chemical stock. Organize and manage the supply locker to promote efficiency and safety. Documentation and Compliance: Audit and verify all forms coming from the station, ensuring accuracy in documentation, including payroll and expense reports. Meet RAMP compliance and fill out the Financial Pulse Sheet accurately. Quality Control: Master quality standards, addressing and rectifying any internal or external quality complaints before they reach the client. Train team members to identify and prevent quality issues. Training and Communication: Develop and deliver training plans for new team members, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures. Communicate regularly with the project manager regarding staffing, customer satisfaction, safety, and operational performance. Vehicle Management: Audit vehicles for safety, maintenance, and cleanliness, ensuring timely communication of deficiencies to the project manager. Ensure legal compliance of vehicles prior to travel, and follow accident protocols as needed. Operational Leadership: Demonstrate operational performance ownership and actively participate in operational committees. Collaborate with team members to ensure solidarity and perform services alongside staff when possible.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the janitorial or facility maintenance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and operational management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make proactive decisions.
  • Proficient in inventory management, payroll processing, and compliance documentation.
