About The Position

Foxtrot Aviation Services is looking for dedicated, energetic, quality and safety-focused individuals to join our ever-growing family! Foxtrot provides members of the aviation industry with top-of-the-line aircraft detailing, line service, and facility cleaning services. We service a wide variety of aircraft and facilities both large and small! This position is based out of Lake City Gateway Airport (LCQ); our company is continually growing, and we need candidates who meet and exceed our expectations of becoming the nation’s leading aircraft detailing and facility support company! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Facility/Aviation Supervisor to lead and support operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency while overseeing a team of maintenance and aircraft cleaning staff. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and operational management.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a janitorial or related field, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and incident reporting requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational needs.
  • Proficiency in quality control standards and training methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, restrooms, and common areas ensuring a high level of hygiene.
  • Empty and properly dispose of waste and recycling bins throughout the facility.
  • Clean and disinfect common areas such as bathrooms, break rooms, kitchenettes, and meeting rooms.
  • Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring that all necessary products are available for use.
  • Perform interior aircraft cleaning, including vacuuming carpets, wiping tray tables, cleaning galleys and lavatories, sanitizing seating areas, and removing trash and debris to ensure aircraft are ready for passenger service.
  • Conduct exterior aircraft washing using approved equipment, chemicals, and procedures to safely clean aircraft fuselage, wings, windows, and landing gear areas while protecting sensitive aircraft components.
  • Inspect aircraft interiors and exteriors after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met and address any deficiencies immediately.
  • Enforce all safety policies, specifically policy 700, and communicate safety issues effectively to the team.
  • Identify and report hazardous behaviors, poor job site safety, and training needs.
  • Complete necessary safety documentation, including HIT Forms and hazardous attitude reports, and assist in incident investigations.
  • Build and manage a flexible schedule that meets operational needs. Report any scheduling requests or concerns to the Operations Manager (OM).
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record and document any call-offs or absences. Assume scheduling responsibilities in the absence of the OM.
  • Participate in the hiring process, including interviews and background checks, ensuring timely onboarding of new team members.
  • Identify team member skills and areas for improvement, relaying this information to the OM.
  • Review locker reorder forms and ensure adequate stock levels of GO-Bags, carts, and van supplies.
  • Identify and rectify any equipment or chemical shortages to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Acquire and maintain Level 4 certification competencies annually.
  • Inspect quality standards on all jobs, performing final quality control on facilities and addressing quality complaints effectively.
  • Train team members on quality standards and methods to rectify imperfections.
  • Train new team members on all services offered, safety compliance, and operational protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Training/Safety Department to ensure compliance in all training-related items, documenting safety compliance tracking as necessary.
  • Foster a cooperative work environment by effectively communicating with coworkers, supervisors, and upper management.
  • Present operational challenges clearly and coordinate necessary staffing changes on the job site.
  • Manage customer requests professionally and report issues to HR as needed.
  • Ensure all vehicles are fueled and ready for dispatch, completing vehicle inspection forms and reporting discrepancies or damages to the OM.
  • Monitor compliance with safety measures while operating vehicles in airport operations areas (AOA).
  • Understand and track labor metrics, advising on overages and maintaining visibility on revenue goals and profit and loss (P&L) statements.
