Requirements

  • Proven experience as a professional chef, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong culinary skills across a variety of cuisines and dietary needs
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food service operations within the community, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and community preferences
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain proper food handling procedures
  • Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet nutritional and aesthetic standards
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
