  • Purchase and/or transport tools/material/units/equipment to and from specified locations using company trucks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Drive various types of vehicles including pickups, service vans, box vans.
  • Assist fleet managers in repairing vehicles; keep vehicles clean and free of dirt and debris.
  • Keep Spare Fleet Trucks in operating order
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Follow all company fleet and driver policies and procedures and safety protocols.
  • Provide the service manager with signed paperwork from field deliveries which includes Job names and or Project numbers.
  • Pack and load material and equipment onto trucks for delivery
  • Receive incoming material from haulers and company vehicles
  • Pull material from the warehouse in a timely manner for job sites and other areas as required, using forklifts, pallet jacks and other related material handling equipment.
  • Assist in unloading and loading of trucks and other vehicles as required.
  • Return to stock material from job sites and other projects as required.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and material stored in an orderly manner.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
  • Provide customer support in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Actively participate in weekly warehouse meetings.
  • Perform general warehouse cleanup.
  • Interact with Service manager, Project Manager, Engineers and Dispatchers.
  • Other responsibilities as required by the service manager.
  • High school diploma or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience as a driver (preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record at time of hire and continuously throughout employment and meets all fleet requirements
  • Must demonstrate commitment to company safety policies
  • Must demonstrate commitment to company values
  • Strong decision making skills and ability to multitask is critical
  • High sense of urgency
