The Manager of Workforce Strategy will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our workforce by developing and implementing strategies that align our talent with the organization’s overall business objectives. Working within the Global Workforce Strategies & Operations team within Salesforce Professional Services, you will partner directly with the Director of Workforce Strategy and VP of Workforce Strategies & Operation to refine the team’s vision and build out a comprehensive roadmap for standing up a world-class Professional Services Workforce Strategy function. This role requires the precision of a human capital consultant and the agility of an internal operator to translate high-level vision into a sustainable, standing capability. You will focus on driving alignment for how the organization evolves—specifically regarding the on-shore / off-shore / near-shore mix and the shape/levels of the organization—to maximize investment and returns. While you will lead specific bodies of work, you will act primarily as a high-powered program and project manager who mobilizes a matrixed team of stakeholders across the business, Employee Success (HR), and Operations partners to drive innovation and build consensus.

Requirements

  • Possess approximately 7+ years of experience in Professional Services or a top-tier management consulting environment with a specialized focus on Strategic Workforce Planning and human capital priorities.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of driving large-scale strategic initiatives and managing multiple competing priorities through the application of a structured consulting toolkit and roadmap development.
  • Exhibit strong expertise in strategic workforce planning and data analytics, with a keen ability to identify necessary data points, interpret complex findings, and use them to influence critical business decisions.
  • Show significant experience in leading cross-functional "matrix" teams, with the ability to influence outcomes and build consensus among stakeholders from HR, Operations, and Business Leadership.
  • Maintain a high level of AI proficiency, demonstrating real-world experience in using AI to drive personal efficiency and work quality while adhering to strict governance and ethical standards.
  • Command strong executive presence through excellent communication and interpersonal skills, specifically in developing and presenting stories with a logical flow for leadership.
  • Display a relentless work ethic and a "get the job done" mentality, with the ability to context-switch effectively between high-level strategy and the tactical project management required to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the flexibility to manage stakeholders across various global time zones, ensuring seamless partnership with future team members and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Director of Workforce Strategy to design and execute the long-term roadmap for the Workforce Strategy function, ensuring it evolves into a proactive and standing capability within Salesforce.
  • Act as a lead program manager for strategic workforce initiatives by applying a rigorous consulting methodology to scope work, identify necessary efforts, and orchestrate resources from across the matrixed organization.
  • Drive role transformation priorities by analyzing the impact of AI augmentation and staying abreast of industry best practices to ensure our workforce remains at the forefront of the "AI-powered" landscape.
  • Evolve our global footprint by balancing location strategy with optimized organizational leveling while advancing our predictive capabilities through proactive scenario modeling during annual planning cycles.
  • Collaborate with experts in Talent Development, Enablement, OCM, and Business Strategy to ensure that workforce strategies are fully operationalized and integrated into the daily mechanics of the business.
  • Analyze sophisticated datasets to extract actionable insights and translate them into high-fidelity, "client-ready" Google Slides presentations that balance technical detail with compelling narratives for senior leadership.
  • Partner with systems and data teams to ensure we are collecting the right metrics to support strategic workforce planning and that these outcomes are incorporated into our broader capacity planning and forecasting processes.
