The Workforce Staffing (WFS) Team is seeking a Staffing Lead to take on a multi-purpose leadership role focused on engagement and optimization within a defined geography (node). This position is crucial for creating a collaborative team environment and fostering a strong candidate-oriented culture that ensures the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality-driven services to business partners. The Staffing Lead will be responsible for developing a vision based on data analysis, creating scalable strategies to attract the best talent and the most diverse candidates while minimizing costs per hire and per WFS employee. In this role, the Staffing Lead will evolve and implement labor acquisition strategies that include recommendations for employee classes, labor pool utilization, talent pool conversion, and leveraging various channel resources across different Amazon businesses. The position requires close collaboration with local Site Leadership teams, including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and associated workflow teams, to optimize labor requirements effectively. The Staffing Lead will also manage the analysis of Workforce Staffing performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This includes forecasting labor demand plans and creating scalable staffing strategies to ensure that team resource capabilities align with business demands. The role involves adapting strategies based on the consistently changing needs of the business, tracking hiring event schedules, and forecasting attendance rates. Additionally, the Staffing Lead will lead and drive projects of increasing scale and complexity, managing programs through to completion. Setting KPI benchmarks and metrics is essential, as is the ability to prioritize tasks to meet and exceed all business Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role may require travel to conduct events in various locations within the designated Node or assigned geographical area. The Staffing Lead will also manage cost per hire budgets, overseeing labor acquisition, advertising, and other talent acquisition costs within the node, while optimizing candidate cycle time, conversion rates, and applicant funnel metrics to benchmark performance. Ultimately, the goal is to exceed associate experience service levels and KPIs measured by hiring activity results and defect reduction, while partnering with site Finance Managers and Operations Leaders to forecast and plan labor demand.
