About The Position

The Workforce Planning and Development Practice Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and initiatives of a learning organization, improving organizational effectiveness and employee growth through learning and development, change management, and organizational design access and dissemination through a Learning Management System (LMS) or system-wide platform. The Workforce Planning and Development Practice Lead will coordinate programs that enhance employee capabilities through training and development, focusing on both employee and organizational needs. The Workforce Planning and Development Practice Lead will be responsible for managing workforce development programs to advance Penn State Health’s learning culture and overarching strategic business goals. The Lead will develop positive long-term relationships with Penn State Health stakeholders and community representatives. They will support and manage relationships to address workforce needs. Programs include but are not limited to: student programs and clinical rotations, career pathways, and college and public school partnerships. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week onsite in Hershey, PA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Workforce Education and Development, Business Administration, Econometrics, Statistics or related field required.
  • Five (5) years of related experience required.
  • Experience in developing, delivering and optimizing workforce planning and development programs and initiatives.
  • Experience with workforce planning and development data analysis, forecasting, implementation and evaluation of enterprise-wide programs.
