The Program Coordinator for Workforce Education at NHTI - Concord's Community College plays a pivotal role in coordinating all activities related to workforce education programs, particularly focusing on trades, career, and technical programs. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of customized training, professional development courses, and curriculum alignment with industry standards. The Program Coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders, including business and industry partners, state and local agencies, and community organizations, to identify training needs and guide curriculum development that meets industry standards. In this role, the Program Coordinator will implement and evaluate curricula to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. They will maintain and update course and program documents to reflect current industry requirements and assist in forecasting program needs and budgets to ensure effective resource allocation. The position also involves supporting student recruitment, scheduling, and onboarding, as well as the recruitment of instructors to ensure high-quality instruction. The Program Coordinator will develop syllabi and schedules for open enrollments, customized training, and employer apprenticeship programs, while also building and maintaining Canvas courses for effective course delivery. They will collect and maintain required records on program participants, monitor participant progress, and participate in marketing strategies to promote workforce education programs. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will cultivate relationships with business and industry partners and engage in outreach to educational partners, oversee contracted instructors and student learning activities, and monitor academic and employability skills progress. This role requires compliance with all college, system, state, and federal rules and regulations, along with other duties as assigned.
